Bandung Computer Education adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan dengan bekerja sama dengan beberapa Sekolah Dasar Negeri untuk menyediakan pendidikan khusus di bidang komputer. Saat ini, sistem akademik di Bandung Computer Education masih dikelola secara manual, di mana data siswa, instruktur, mata pelajaran, kelas, dan pencatatan nilai rapor ditulis tangan, penyimpanan rapor yang tidak terstruktur. Metode ini rentan terhadap kesalahan input nilai, sehingga pekerjaan menjadi kurang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan Bandung Computer Education akan sistem penilaia akademik yang dapat menghemat waktu dan mempermudah pengelolaan serta penyajian informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: requirement, design, implementation, verification, dan maintenance. Perancangan sistem penilaian akademik ini menggunakan Framework Laravel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya sistem penilaian akademik, pengelolaan data di Bandung Computer Education menjadi lebih cepat dan terstruktur, sehingga membantu pihak terkait dalam mengolah data.

DESIGNING AN ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT SYSTEM USING THE LARAVEL FRAMEWORK AT BANDUNG COMPUTER EDUCATION

Bandung Computer Education is a company engaged in the field of education, collaborating with several public elementary schools to provide specialized education in computer studies. Currently, the academic system at Bandung Computer Education is still managed manually, where student data, instructors, subjects, classes, and report card grades are handwritten, and report card storage is unstructured. This method is prone to input value errors, making the work less effective and efficient. This research aims to identify the needs of Bandung Computer Education for an academic assessment system that can save time and facilitate the management and presentation of information. The method used is the waterfall method, which consists of five stages: requirement, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The design of this academic assessment system uses the Laravel Framework. The research results show that with the presence of an academic information system, data management at Bandung Computer Education has become faster and more structured, thereby assisting the relevant parties in processing data.
